In the dime stores and bus stations, people talk of situations, read books, repeat quotations, draw conclusions on the wall. Some speak of the future,
my love she speaks softly, she knows there’s no success like failure, and that failure’s no success at all.

Day Five: Rest, Playtime, and Packing

This may be one of the shortest blog posts I type since I didn't get up to much at all. As Adrianna and Jon went to work, I spent a lot of time trying to catch up on sleep. When I wasn't sleeping I spent a good deal of time singing, dancing, hide and seeking, and generally playing games with my two cousins. Fortunately I didn't feel I was missing out on much as it was a pretty miserable weather compared to the previous days. I spent the evening packing my bag (which seemed more difficult even though I'm not carrying anything extra?!) and playing sporcle with the adults (I got them hooked). Tomorrow is the real start of roughing it as I wake up at 6.00am to catch a bus into New York and then get the Greyhound to DC.
